The Devil’s Vial

The Devil's Vial Cover FrontThe threat of global warming pushes some well-organized and very powerful people into a drastic and lethal scheme. Central to their plans is a small clear vial. These plans remain undiscovered until Richard Gregg, a convert to Buddhism struggling to apply what he’s learned to a westerner’s life, stumbles across the conspiracy. Along with four friends, Richard is chased, shot at and beaten, leaving him no room for doubt that the powers-that-be are willing to kill to maintain secrecy and further their goals.

Somehow, the conspirators must be found, the details of their plot uncovered, and their plans derailed, and it all has to happen soon, because Richard and his friends are running out of time. Faced with unknown and unrepentantly violent adversaries, Richard struggles to remain true to his beliefs. He must act without violence and approach everything with compassion and loving kindness. With Richard’s deep convictions clashing with what he must do, it’s not at all clear he will succeed.
